I sent the President Mattarella a letter to congratulate on his recent election as President of the Italian Republic during January 2015 and he replied in person with a nice telegram!
It says: "Than you a lot for your congratulations and good wishes - Sergio Mattarella"
I think it's nice that a citizen receives a communication directly from the President of the Republic!
