Don Zimmerman (born November 22, 1949) is a former wide receiver in the National Football League. Zimmerman was drafted in the 12th round of the 1972 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. He played three seasons with the team before splitting his final season between the Eagles and the Green Bay Packers.

Very happy with this lightning quick success from the Forrest Gump of baseball, Don Zimmer. I sent a LOR, baseball, pen and SASE to Zim at his Semindle, FL, home address and received a signed ROMLB with his "Popeye" nickname & the inscription "Ive Seen It All." What a great signer & just all around great guy!!!
